Chicago based Orbitz.com has made an announcement that as per their new research they believe that online video is the best way that can attract lot of travelers and visitors to try different places around the world. The company said that consumers today are really particular about how they spend their money and it is mainly because of online videos that visitors and travelers decide which places they would like to try in the future. The travel website said that their research clearly indicates that online video has become a better way to inspire travelers around the world so that they can plan their travel destinations around the world.

The company said that as per their report 45% of the travelers that would like to try some casual destinations and 75% of the affluent travelers are prompted to book travel mainly after they see online videos about certain destinations. The report indicates that most travelers today are not happy seeing the pictures that are posted on the travel sites and therefore travel sites need to come up with better videos that they can find that they can post on their site to lure more travelers to make bookings. Some of the sites also come up with their own video campaign where they have their videos for the travelers.
